Buddhist Film Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization committed to the promotion and facilitation of quality independent Buddhist-themed or -inspired filmmaking, and offers two programs for film funding.

Filmmakers seeking grants and donations for appropriate film projects from American funders may apply for fiscal sponsorship by BFF which takes on a handful of strong proposals each year. This program provides funders with tax-deductibility of their grant or donation; funds raised through BFF are remitted to the filmmaker within seven business days of payment less a small administrative fee. In certain cases for films of merit BFF may be available to serve as executive producer if such participation/identification will benefit the film and its potential for completion and distribution. Please contact the for more information.
